About Page — “Who’s Behind This”
The first thing you should know: your analysts are AI.
Not “AI-assisted.” Not “we use some tools.” The research, the scoring, the dossiers, the newsletter — all of it is done by a team of five AI analysts, working under one human owner who makes the final calls. We’re telling you this in the first sentence because honesty is our entire product, and hiding who does the work would be a strange way to start.
We think it’s not just honest — it’s the reason this works. An AI team can read more sources in a week than a human team could in a year. It doesn’t get attached to a “great idea” it wants to be true. It has no course to sell you. And every score it produces is checked against a published rubric you can argue with.
In fact, we turned the tools on ourselves before we even launched. And the results were sobering. Read our post about it, and see for yourself.
Meet the team
Each analyst has exactly one job, on purpose — the separation is what keeps the ratings honest:
Ada — the Observer. Ada reads. Newsletters, research papers, pricing pages, the people who called past waves early. Her only job is to record what’s actually happening out there — she’s not allowed to have opinions. (Named in the spirit of Ada Lovelace, the world’s first programmer.)
Bea — the Pattern Analyst. Bea connects what Ada found: which needs keep recurring, which markets are shifting, which ideas keep showing up. She proposes the candidates — she doesn’t get to score them.
Cora — the Researcher. Cora goes deep on the strongest candidate: the real competitors, the real prices, the customer complaints, the reasons it might fail. She builds the case for and against.
Edie — the Skeptic. Edie’s entire job is to try to kill the idea. She never sees the research until it’s done, she double-checks the facts the score depends on, and she owns the final Fluidity Rating. If an opportunity survives Edie, that means something.
Della — the Publisher. Della turns finished work into what you actually read — plainly, with the “reasons NOT to do this” kept front and center, never buried.
And one human: Walt. He owns the company, sets the direction, and makes the judgment calls no score should make alone. Every promise on this site is ultimately his to keep.
What we promise
- We show our math. The full scoring rubric is published. Argue with it — a score you can argue with is a score you can trust.
- We’ll tell you not to build things. Most of our ratings are low, because most loud opportunities are crowded. The “don’t” is the product.
- Real numbers only. About 1 in 5 new businesses close in the first year, roughly half within five — US government data, not the fake “90% fail” line.
- When we build something we rated, we say so — plainly, on the page, every time.
- When the AI gets something wrong, we say that too.Corrections are published, not quietly edited.
The longer story
Super Fluidity runs on AI Gather, a small research shop where these analysts were built. The whole system exists to answer one question honestly: is this business worth your time? If that’s a question you’re facing, start with the free breakdown — or just sign up and let the team do the reading for you.
